In conclusion the future of analytics is about governed self-service
from data collection all the way through to collaborative decisions. It is also
about providing live business experience for customers base off of their
purchase history. Analytics will have a strong shift in and focus more on
consumer behavior and purchases. Analytics will also be viewed through many
different platforms in order to find out which one is most successful. Social
media will also play a major role in analytics into the future. New data leads to a more developed customer, even down do google maps advertisements can be placed right down to where people are and live. Analytics is stating to sell an outcome rather than a product. With a new generation coming along, companies can quickly use data to drive better business results, without the help of IT using their own tools. Companies now know what customer is using what product and what they think of it. Companies can gage these measurements and develop better products in the future because of it.
